CUSP Archive

Beginning in 2000 and continuing through the present, CUSP programming has explored questions of education, expression, professional and social responsibility, international and public health, civil and human rights, science and technology, business ethics, sustainable development, politics and finance, art and representation, and the role of the writer as witness. Themes have included: "Modern Challenges," "Responsibilities," "Columbia in Context," "The Public Intellectual," "America on the World Stage," "Crossroads of Knowledge," "Beyond These Shores," "Logoi kai Erga," and "Excavating the Truth." Such a thematic thread is an exciting and challenging lens through which Scholars can approach the pressing issues of the day, linking discrete areas of speculation.

For details on all of CUSP's past programming, including Speaker Series, Scholar Forums, and Cultural Outings, please see the Program Archive 2000-2024.
