There is a wide range of departments and services available to help students who are having difficulties in a particular course or with academic expectations in general, including your CSA advising dean.
Tutoring
CSA Tutoring offers free pair tutoring in introductory subjects. If you are interested in receiving tutoring for any of the courses offered by this program, please make an appointment with your Advising Dean, who can request a tutor on your behalf.
Peer Academic Skills Consultants
One-on-one meetings with a trained peer to work on academic skills including, time management, study methods, note taking, exam preparation and more. Fill out a request form to sign up for an appointment.
Getting Things Done
Weekly staff-led group meetings focusing on academic skills including time management, scheduling, goal setting, wellness, battling procrastination and more. Fill out an interest form to get more information.
Study Group Interest Form

Writing Center
The Writing Center provides writing support, in one-on-one consultations and workshops, writing consultants offer feedback and strategies to help you improve at every stage of your writing, from brainstorming to final drafts.
Help Rooms
Help Rooms are sponsored by the academic departments and are staffed by graduate students. They are open at various times for students to drop by and ask questions about homework and material. There are currently help rooms for Chemistry, Computer Science, Math, Physics, and Statistics.
