Residential students will find everything they need to know regarding logistics and details for check-in and move-in on the Columbia Housing website. Links to specific resources and information can be found below.
You will receive detailed instructions via email from Columbia Housing regarding your Check-In time and move-in logistics. At Check-In, you will pick up your University ID (which functions as your room key), NSOP badge, and formally register with Housing and Residential Life.
Find detailed information for first-year students and transfer, combined plan and exchange students on the Housing website.
Most visiting and exchange students will check-in at 11am on August 27, in Lerner Hall 555 where you will receive your Student ID, and meet your orientation leader.

Shipping items to campus in advance of Check-In is a smart move-in strategy. Learn more about important dates and logistical information for shipping to campus in advance of your arrival.
Packages received by Columbia Mail between August 1 and August 15 will be eligible for direct delivery to students' rooms.
