Tune in to WKCR from 2-5 pm tomorrow, June 15th, to hear WKCR broadcast live performances from the Porch Stomp Folk Music Festival on Governor’s Island.

The Porch Stomp 2024 Festival will take place on Saturday from 11am-6pm on Governors Island, and will invite hundreds of folk bands, artists, and performing arts organizations to use the greenery of Nolan Park and Colonel’s Row as a space for performance and education. Porch Stomp is a free, volunteer-run music celebration produced in association with Make Music New York, a not-for-profit that connects music makers, fans and the public spaces of New York City.
