Israeli born vocalist, pianist, songwriter, improviser Noa Fort was recently regarded as “one of New York’s more interesting and original artists” (New York Music Daily). She draws inspiration from different musical worlds, integrating her background of classical and jazz piano, jazz singing, and free improvisation into her original music.
Since her arrival in New York in 2013, she has played in numerous venues such as The Stone, Cornelia Street Café, Roulette, Rockwood Music Hall, Spectrum, and Pete’s Candy Store. She has collaborated and played with greats such as William Parker, Okkyung Lee, Rene Hart, and Anat Fort. She recently participated in the Banff Jazz and Creative music workshop under the leadership of Vijay Iyer. Fort also holds an MA in music therapy from NYU; she uses music in her work with youth at risk, adults with developmental disabilities and people who suffer from mental illnesses and believes in the power of music to heal.

Fort released her latest album, "No World Between Us," in January of 2018. It is a portrait of one woman's personal journey, painted with sounds.
