WKCR meets with Kronos Quartet founder and artistic director David Harrington, who first started the group in Seattle in 1973. The world famous ensemble is celebrating their 40 year anniversary this year, and to celebrate Lincoln Center Out of Doors have given them a five day festival that will include collaborations with Dan Deacon and Jherek Bischoff, among others. Active as ever, we'll discuss some about the path that brought them to success along with what new projects Kronos is currently engaged in during this hour long segment.
