Join us as we sit down this week with Jeff Lederer on the Musician's Show, 6-9pm. Jeff is a renowned saxophonist, composer, and educator. Over the years he has worked with the Matt Wilson Quartet, Bobby Sanabria, and Jimmy Bosch. He has also taught at Jazz at Lincoln Center, University of Miami, Dartmouth College, and SUNY Binghamton among others. As a composer, his music has been performed by the Chicago Symphony and Los Angeles Orchestra. His most recent releases this Fall are Swing n' Dix and Reincarnation. For the former, he is joined by Matt Wilson on drums, Kirk Knuffke on cornet, Bob Stewart on Tuba, and Mary LaRose on vocals. The latter is under Mary LaRose's leadership, for whom Jeff arranged tunes to be performed by the Brooklyn Rider String Quartet. Both albums mark a ressurgence of his music label, Little (i) Music.
