DeSilva-Johnson is a non binary artist and author working in performance, exhibition, and publication in conversation with new media. She is a visiting assistant professor at Pratt, the founder and Managing Editor of The Operating System, as well as Libraries Editor at Boog City. Lynne is the author of 'GROUND', 'blood atlas', and 'Overview Effect', co-author of 'A GUN SHOW' with Adam Sliwinski/Sō Percussion, and co-editor of the anthologies 'RESIST MUCH, OBEY LITTLE: Inaugural Poems for the Resistance', and 'In Corpore Sano: Creative Practice and the Challenged Body'. She publishes zines and chapbooks under The Trouble With Bartleby, including the 2017 'Fighting Words' series. Recent or forthcoming publication credits include Drunken Boat/Anomaly, Wave Magazine, Entropy, The Brooklyn Poets Anthology, Gorgon Poetics, Live Mag!, and "In memory of feasible grace," a Panthalassa Pamphlet from Tea & Tattered Pages Press. Lynne and her work have appeared at The Dumbo Arts Festival, Naropa University, Bowery Arts and Science, The NYC Poetry Festival, Eyebeam, LaMaMa, Undercurrent Projects, Mellow Pages, The New York Public Library, Launchpad BK, The Poetry Project, Industry City Distillery, Independent Curators International, Happy Lucky No. 1, and the Cooper Union, among others. She makes daily, resists always, and lives in Brooklyn NY.
