The purpose of the Columbia Minecraft Club is to foster a community for Columbia University students who play Minecraft. Although we started off playing the game together casually, this eventually evolved into us meeting regularly, in person, beginning in the Fall of 2019. The Columbia Minecraft Club was founded in the Summer of 2019. Since its creation, we have hosted weekly general body meetings alongside other special events. Server launches, Minecon Live, skin design contests, building competitions, Bedwars Game Nights, and yearly anniversary celebrations. The Columbia Minecraft Club is dedicated to building community, reducing stress, and being welcoming to all.
