CityStep Columbia is the first dance and creative expression group to increase both student and community youth involvement, self-awareness, and confidence by leading movement-based activity for local children in NYC public schools. Inspired by the principles found online at citystep.org, we explore relevant themes such as life in the city, historic and current events, art, and literature as students and children alike transmit their own creative mindset and shared passion for movement throughout the community.
