Blanche Zhang is a senior at Columbia College, studying Visual Art and Art History. She is currently an International Engagement Intern at Columbia Undergraduate Admissions, where she assists with event planning and programming for the larger international student community at Columbia. Growing up in Beijing China, she hopes to enrich the experiences of international students on campus. She strives to be an educator after graduation. Her experience assisting low-income high school students with their college applications at Matriculate affirms her passion for the education field. She is now a graduate coach at the education firm InGeniusPrep, and she will be continuing her studies at Harvard Graduate School of Education. In class and in her spare time, she works on various art projects as a visual artist. She enjoys spending time with her cat, Pudding, and visiting art museums and exhibitions.
