Innovation and Enhancement
Red Stein is a senior in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science, studying geochemistry with a research focus on South-East Pacific paleoclimate. They are passionate about analog music, jazz education, and sound engineering, and have worked for the past year as the Director of Operations of WKCR FM-NY— Columbia's student-run radio station. Outside of the studio, Red is a first-year RA in Furnald Hall, a tutor in the Chemistry Peer Help Center, and a thesis student at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory. They plan to remain at Columbia after graduation, in order to pursue a Ph.D. in Geochemistry.
