Radhika (Rads) Mehta is a senior double majoring in Neuroscience and Economics. She has been on Columbia College Student Council (CCSC) every year she has been a student here and is serving as the Student Body President this year. Last year, she worked on the pass/fail grading proposal that ended up being implemented for three semesters in three of the undergraduate schools. She also worked on the CCSC Resources Fund which purchased and shipped items from iPads to winter coats to low income students around the world. This year, she helped establish the Undergraduate Mental Health Collaborative, a body that brings administrators and students together to proactively prevent and combat mental health issues. She has also led work around the College expansion and created new events & traditions to bring the community together.
Thank you so much to all my incredible friends and family for their support over the years! Thank you to all of the other award recipients for all the work that they have done to improve the College. Thank you to everyone on CCSC for their constant collaboration and dedication. And thank you to all of you in the Columbia community who make this place better through their daily acts of kindness. :)
