Yeliz is a first-generation low-income graduate of biochemistry from Barnard College. The variety of leadership and research experience she has gained at the university has taught her new skills and motivates Yeliz to continue challenging herself. She aspires to become a doctor of medicine and hopes to be active in the public health field.
