Bio
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Sadde Mohamed is a senior in Columbia College pursuing a double major in biology as well as ethnicity and race studies. As the first born in the United States to a Somali refugee family and seeing his grandparents go through health crises, Sadde spends time thinking critically about health, migration, race/ethnicity, their intersections and the powers that influence them. Sadde is grateful for the community at Columbia that has shaped them, and they hope that they were able to help shape the community in turn.
