Arina Karkhanis is a proud graduate of Columbia College with a degree in Human Rights; her time at Columbia has reinforced the importance of multiculturalism and global engagement in all aspects of her life. From taking her coursework in Japanese, Spanish and German to conducting international research in Cuba, she is grateful for the breadth of global opportunities she has received at university. Upon graduation, she will be working within the energy and financial services industries prior to applying to law schools. She’d like to thank her mother and sister for always championing her dreams and the friends she’s made from across the globe for their constant support.
