Shariq is a Science Research Fellow in Columbia College and is majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior on the pre-medicine track. On campus, he leads Columbia Synapse and QFaith alongside serving as the director of Health Nexus, a global health team. He is currently a research assistant at the Lab of Intergroup Relations and the Social Mind (LIRSM), where his current project examines the psychological effects of invisibility discrimination for Black women. After graduation, he’s looking forward to working for a major management consulting firm before attending graduate school.
