Misbah Farooqi is a graduating senior at Columbia College studying Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies on the pre-law track. During her time at Columbia, Misbah served as the President of the Muslim Students Association for nearly two years and participated in a number of pre-law and political opportunities on and off campus. After graduating, Misbah hopes to work in the legal field advocating for the rights of immigrants and those who have been historically marginalized. She plans on ultimately attending law school to become an immigration lawyer.
