We are excited to welcome students and families to the Class of 2024 Convocation ceremony, taking place at 6:30 p.m. on September 1, 2021, after move-in activities. This year’s special ceremony welcomes your class’ in-person arrival to campus and will unite members from the Columbia College, Columbia Engineering and Columbia University community.

The ceremony will be held on Low Plaza and will feature remarks from Dean James J. Valentini and Interim Dean Shih-Fu Chang, along with others. For those unable to attend, the ceremony will also be livestreamed on this page (you can also watch on Panopto).

Capacity for this event will be limited and seating will be first-come, first-served. Masks must be worn by all attendees. Location and time may be subject to change based on University guidance regarding Covid-19.
