Gisselle was born and raised in Southeastern San Diego, California. They are graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies with a Sociology specialization. At Columbia University, they have worked as the gender and sexuality chair of the Undocumented Students’ Initiative and as co-chair of the Chicanx Caucus. They have also worked as a mentor and workshop facilitator at The WomanHOOD Project in the Bronx. After graduation, Gisselle hopes to work with community organizations before attending graduate school.
