As a former Nightline director, this award is dedicated to the anonymous peer listeners who tirelessly serve Columbia's community without public recognition. I would like to say a huge public thank you to these students who dedicate endless time to training and taking calls, and for giving students on this campus a little more empathy and community, even if only for a night. As the chair of the Student Governing Board, I would similarly like to thank the student leaders of each of SGB's constituent groups who dedicate their time on campus to building identity based communities and for carving out a space for each student on Columbia's campus. I would like to say a special thanks to Harry Ottensoser (CC' 21) for being my personal support for the last 4 years and for continuing to energize me in each of these roles.
