As the Senior Class President on the Columbia College Student Council, Maryam Elsayed has been committed to advocating for FGLI students and students of color. She is an intern with Undergraduate Admissions and has served as the co-chair for the Multicultural Recruitment Committee, recruiting underrepresented students to Columbia. She has served as a teaching assistant with America Reads and is currently a mentor with the Double Discovery Center. She is proud to be graduating as a member of the FLI community!
