Maria del Carmen Castillo is from Laredo, Texas. After graduation, she will be working with the Carbon-Free Electricity team at the Rocky Mountain Institute and focusing on how the electricity sector can reduce its carbon footprint. She is the proud to come from a Mexican family and is eternally grateful for the love and support she's received from her parents, siblings, and extended family.
