Gabriel was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. He is majoring in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and minoring in Political Science. He has been involved in Latinx students’ organizations’ activities and activism at Columbia. In the fall, Gabriel will start a PhD program in History at the University of Chicago.
