I am a black student from Brooklyn, born in Guyana. I am FLI and I a lot of my experience at Columbia has been shaped by these identifiers. I have met a lot of people from similar backgrounds and I have greatly benefited from those affinity spaces. I plan on attending grad school in the future and I hope to find that rapport in the next step of my academic journey.
