Hadeel is a senior in SEAS studying Biomedical Engineering. She is being recognized for her dedication to fostering a sense of community on campus and caring for others. In her work as a peer tutor, hospital volunteer, and president of Design for America, Hadeel has prioritized community engagement and service. In each facet of her life, she has worked to create an atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported.
I am extremely honored to receive this award. I would like to thank my friends, family, and professors for their guidance throughout my time at Columbia. I am beyond grateful to them for believing in me and pushing me to be the best version of myself.
