Emerging Leader
Naomi is being recognized for her contributions as the Community Organizer at Columbia's Intercultural Resource Center, as a Teach for America fellow teaching disadvantaged children, as a Mellon-Mays fellow researching community spatial formation practices, and as a Columbia AAADS researcher. Naomi has previously served in her home state of Florida as State Director for March for Our Lives and as a program developer for Fridays for Future. Naomi is majoring in Political Science and Black Studies, and she wants to pursue a PhD while focusing on liberation studies and social movements.
