Joseph Han Jiale sits on the board of Columbia Engineering Senior Fund, where he was tasked with outreach and encouraged the spirit of giving. He was a Teaching Assistant for Advanced Programming, serving underrepresented communities in computer science. His dedication to community building is evident in his capacity as resident advisor and orientation leader. Joseph is also the founder of Drive Equality, an initiative to help international students in the US get a driver’s license. A Renaissance engineer, Joseph focused on computer engineering while minoring in biomedical engineering and English literature.
